Simon founded Silverwing Investment Ltd in 2011 as an Asia Pacific investment holding and M&A advisory firm, headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Singapore, Jakarta, Makassar and Brisbane. The firm’s core model is deal origination, identifying, structuring and funding underserved and undervalued opportunities across the region, including those that are complex or high-barrier to entry, and building them into scalable, profitable businesses.
Over more than twelve years, Silverwing has originated, led or advised on more than 65 deals across ten sectors, facilitated more than US$ 500 million in equity investments and value creation accross principle and advisory mandates, and built an active development pipeline of US$ 11.6 billion at various stages of origination and development. The firm has attracted strategic and financial partners from China, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, and has assembled a team and advisor network with a combined transaction track record of more than US$ 35 billion globally.
Silverwing’s portfolio spans energy, healthcare, aviation, digital, mining, transport and infrastructure with investments and mandates across Asia Pacific and selected international markets. The firm’s flagship development assets include the Indonesia-Singapore large-scale clean energy export initiative and a 1GW captive solar PV-BESS project for an Indonesian industrial park with a projected total investment of US$ 500 million.
